3. _C_h_a_n_g_e_s__a_n_d__A_d_d_i_t_i_o_n_s
The changes to the IRIS InSight Viewer product since release
2.3 are as follows:
+o Added support in SGIHelp to launch HTTP references from
the help menu.
+o Added a HTTP link in the InSight help menu to get any
latest information about the product.
The changes to the IRIS InSight Viewer product since release
2.0 are as follows:
+o Support for 1-bit X displays and better color map
management.
+o Personal bookshelf added to the library browser.
+o Feedback comment card added to the book viewer.
+o New presentational styles for the books.
+o Users have the ability to click on a table title and
pop up the table in a small table viewer with the table
column headers locking at the top while the content can
scroll.
+o Ability to have tables be inline or not, just like
figures.
+o Text in the CGM images looks alot better when resized
to an appropriate size.
+o Advanced search feature added for library level and
individual book searches.
+o Support for inline media now includes audio, video,
Inventor (3D) models, CGM, and RGB images.
+o Additional functionality added to the bookshelves,
including the ability to collapse and expand them in
the library view. A popup menu is available via the
right mouse button to select and deselect all books
simultaneously.
+o Real-time scrolling in the table of contents.
+o Zooming of figures preserving the aspect ratio.

+o User definable bookmarks.
+o Horizontal orientation of table of contents and book
content in book viewer.
+o Search cancel feature added.
+o Support for Internationalization of the viewer.
The changes to the SGIHelp product since the last release
include:
+o Smooth scrolling of help cards; viewer no longer
flashes or ``jumps''.
+o Support for inline media now includes audio, video,
Inventor (3D) models, CGM, and RGB images.
+o Addition of the SGIHelp and XHELP Developer's kit for
adding help to user created applications.
+o Complete command-line interface (see the manpage for
sgihelp(1)).
+o Improved error handling and reporting.
